Two workspaces, one system. Design Pipeline holds every project and its design-process stages — client intake, selections workbook, designer approval, visualization package, subcontractor labor, fixed price contract and client project sign-off. Procurement is where approved selections get ordered, tracked and delivered. The Designer Project Brief still generates and emails itself automatically once intake is linked to a project.
Every column edits in place and saves as soon as you leave the field — Room, Category, Estimated Price and the reference links included. Item / Selection and the product detail are the exception: they only change through Edit → Save changes, which also lets you record a reason. Either way the previous value is kept in the line's History and in the Changes tab — an inline edit is logged exactly like a deliberate one. An edit is an internal correction, not a change order — use Activate Change when the client's selection itself has changed and the difference needs to go to them. Lines with a passed Order By date that aren't marked ordered are flagged overdue; the flag clears itself once the order is placed, and completed, delivered, on-hold and untracked lines are never flagged.
